This model of therapy has impressed me so much. As a foster Carer speaking to the other foster families (total of ten attending) everyone I spoke to reported feeling so relaxed in a non-dgemental environment with people who understand the foster family dynamic. The children whereof varying ages from pre-schoolers to teenagers. What I saw was a group of children and teenagers who have experienced early developmental trauma have an experience where they enjoyed each other’s company in a happy sensory friendly environment. I also observed how they helped each other out over the couple of days and overcome some of their personal challenges. My own two children absolutely loved the experience and have asked to go again.’
