Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Foster Fest 2025

You and your family are invited to ‘Fosterfest’ a day to celebrate foster families. Your local fostering teams want to celebrate and express their appreciation for all you do. Rockfield House, home to ‘Nurturing in Nature’ therapeutic camping for foster families is delighted to host this event on behalf of Tusla for families from Cavan-Monaghan, Dublin Central, Dublin North and Louth-Meath.

The day will be filled with activities for all ages and family members such as a Drumming Workshop, Sensory Tent, Giant Bubbles, Go-karts, Face Painting, Dance Workshops, Mini-muckers obstacle course and much more. Adults can go to the ‘Carers Wellbeing Area’ for some relaxing activities such as Head and Hand Massage or just relax and soak up the music from our band and DJ. There will be a Barbeque for all to enjoy on the day. Please let us know when you are booking which time suits you to eat at – you can choose between 1.30 to 2.30 and 2.30 to 3.30.

The event will run from 1 – 5 pm on the 22nd June 2025.
