To create a specialist support centre for children in care and adopted children where those who have experienced relationship trauma can recover over time. Through our experience and knowledge of attachment and sensory regulation we can understand behaviour and support the child become regulated and be able to enjoy everyday childhood experiences a little easier.

Research identifies the family as being the most powerful tool to recovery. Regulated relationships is the solution and a child completing regulating activities with their family is part of brain recovery. Sometimes children with behavioural difficulties access support services on their own, however at Rockfield we want to incorporate best practice and support the child and their family to grow, learn and laugh together.

We aim to support the system who looks after the child. Rockfield House is a wonderful location where professionals can also enjoy, learn and immerse themselves in nature to build strength and knowledge to support them in their crucial work.
